CFE in collaboration with Lawyers for Good Governance and Life and Environment, carried out the project “Strengthening Environmental Protection in Arab Municipalities” with the aim to strengthen the key role of local authorities in delivering the climate action. The project aims to improve the performance of the Environment Protection Committees. This will enable them to develop infrastructure and allocate budgets to address the climate change to meet the needs of their communities while implementing enforcement mechanisms that effectively promote the right of the Arab citizens to a clean and healthy environment.
